This approach reflects the course of key stages of a salon treatment.

Is there an activator and what is it used for?

It is a kind of magical, multi-tasking substance, thanks to which the power of the mask increases, and the effect of the SPA ritual becomes spectacular! It usually takes the form of a light solution or gel, which is saturated with ingredients such as: penetration promoters or acids and other substances that help the active ingredients from the mask applied later to penetrate faster, deeper and more effectively. This process is the activation of the mask to even more active action and higher effectiveness. Activators often also act as a tonic , restoring the skin's proper pH after washing, moisturizing and refreshing.

How to perform a facial SPA treatment at home to be amazed by its effects?

• cleansing - the starting point of every care, on which the effectiveness of the entire treatment depends to a large extent. To obtain maximum effects, the skin should be prepared for this. You can choose from butters, foams, gels. Remember that the most important thing is for them to work effectively, without causing irritation and disturbing the hydrolipid barrier as little as possible (here links to violet). If you choose those enriched with acids or enzymes, you will additionally improve the effectiveness of the care (here links to narcissus and oil-free cleansing). It is worth doing a gentle facial massage with your hands while washing to stimulate the skin a little more,
• exfoliation – this is an extremely important step, the purpose of which is to remove excess dead skin cells and make it easier for the skin to absorb active ingredients from the cosmetics applied later. It is enough if you do it 1-2 times a week (if you use treatments more often, you can skip this step),
• activator – is key to increasing the effectiveness of the mask applied in the next step. In addition to actively improving the penetration of active ingredients, it also acts as a tonic, refreshing and hydrating the skin,
• mask – an active mask is a product that we use after applying the activator. We choose it depending on the current needs and expectations of the skin. Remember to apply the mask according to the manufacturer's recommendations. Pay attention to the time the mask is kept on the skin, the need to wash it off and the time of day when it is best to apply it,
• serum – is an optional product, especially for masks that require washing off with water. After all, the skin needs to be protected somehow, and ideally additionally stimulated. These are highly concentrated preparations containing the entire essence of active ingredients. Choose a serum that will best suit the needs of the skin. If the mask is, for example, overnight and does not require washing off, skip this step,
• face cream – the last element of our SPA treatment. And again, it only occurs when a mask requiring washing off with water has been applied beforehand. In addition to its care effect, it strengthens the hydrolipid barrier and protects the epidermis from transepidermal water loss. Thanks to this, the skin gains maximum moisture every day and is protected from the harmful effects of external factors.
